Our take
I bought these 2 lb pairs for my daughter's beginner workout routine. The pink neoprene is soft and easy to hold, and the hex shape keeps them from rolling off the floor. They're fine for very light arm movements. However, 2 lb each is extremely light – even for a child, they might outgrow them quickly. The neoprene has a strong chemical smell out of the box that took days to fade. Also, the California Prop 65 warning is concerning. For $13.95, they're okay if you need minimal weights, but not a long-term solution.
