Our take
These GYMENIST dumbbells are incredibly light – I got the 1 lb pair for my wife's physical therapy exercises. The hot pink color is fun, and they're small enough to toss in a gym bag. The rubbery coating gives a decent grip. But honestly, 1 lb is almost useless for most strength work; even 5 lb is still very light. They're great for very specific low-resistance needs, but if you're looking to build muscle, look elsewhere. The price feels a bit high for what you get.
