Our take
I picked up the Body Sport 4 lb pair mainly for some light toning and rehab work. The vinyl coating is smooth and doesn’t slip, and it’s gentle on my floors. For the price, you get two dumbbells that are perfectly adequate for curls, raises, or adding a little resistance to walking lunges. That said, 4 lbs is very light—if you need any real challenge for strength building, this isn’t it. The coating also tends to show scratches over time.
